I have followed the dealer’s advice exactly but I can’t get the DCT to shift from 2×4 to 4×4 differential lock unless I am almost stopped. Also, sometimes I can’t get the rear differential to release in 2×4 mode.

Hello, We bought 2 new Rubicon 520 - DCT-IRS-EPS - and they both developed shifting issues around the 400 mile mark. The shifting was very hard and and I was also very concerned about screwing up the gears, until I found out there was a service bulletin out since March 2021.There is an 8mm shaft coming out of the front of the motor, goes through the shift motor gear assembly. Put a 8mm wrench or socket on it and try to shift it up and down. If that works than your problems are electric.
