My Stevens 5100 has a bird dog picture and "Stevens" on left side of receiver, 5100 & J Stevens Arms Company, Chicopee Falls Mass. U. S. A. on right side.Riverside Arms Company produced by J. Stevens A & T Company as their catalogue store brand, 1877-1948, single shot break open hammer gun, 26" smooth bore barrel, with patented Aug. 12, 1913, 44 shot stamped on top, chamber in 44XL, but will also shoot 410,walnut pistol grip stock and forearm, condition is good, no visible serial numberI have a J. Stevens Arms & Tool Company, Chicopee Falls, MASS. USA, Patented March 19, 1907, 12 guage double barrel. I cannot find a serial number anywhere. Two triggers. No hammers. On the bottom, it says either Model 885 or 335 - I think it's 335. Has a thumb safety and nice checkered buttstock and forend.Serial number- D572. Please refer to the pictures as there are a couple of screws missing and the stock is loose. It appears the top tang screw is stripped in the wood as well. The markings on the barrel are "J. Stevens A&T Company Chicopee Falls, Mass USA Pat Apr 1794" on the other side it says "32-Long".
